✓ Preserve & Protect Preston Market :

Maintain the peoples market to ensure the heritage & protection overlay on the market to stop the owner and the current government from destroying it by allowing 10-14 story high rises. Aim for public acquisition so the market can continue to grow & thrive for decades and for many generations ahead. We can’t let it be sold off or destroyed. We want Liveable development, not over development.

Invest in Rebuilding Reservoir Leisure Centre:

Secure funding from local and state government together so that Reservoir residents can have access to a brand new health and well-being aquatic Centre.

Improve Public Transport & local roads:

More frequent and reliable bus, tram, and train services. Accessible Public Transport, reinstate Tyler street tram stop.

Improve roads and fix potholes.

Traffic lights at Bolderwood Parade to allow pedestrians and children feel safe to cross the road, walk, or ride to school.

Road Maintenance, Bike and Traffic Management:

Better road conditions, traffic calming measures, and parking solutions. Improvements to bike tracks, & more bike trails.

Expand Affordable Housing:

Access to more affordable housing options and support for renters.

Improve Safety and Crime Prevention:

Enhanced police presence, better street lighting, and community safety programs.

Green Spaces Parks & Public Amenities:

Regular Maintenance and upgrades of parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities.

Upgraded public amenities:

Toilets, water fountains, more park benches, & seating areas, in public.

Enhance Waste Management & Recycling:

More effective waste collection, recycling programs, and reduction of illegal dumping.

Strengthen Healthcare & Social Services:

Improved access to local healthcare facilities, mental health services, and community support programs.
